Surrey DA’s annual Feast of Lanterns and Cheese & Wine event - Including the Chairman’s Charity fund raising decorated Units competition -views of site and Unit Decorations..
July 2016 - Maplehurst, Strawberries and 95th
Surrey DA’s Strawberry teas meet was also the 95th birthday of the DA. The celebration included cutting the cake! Maplehurst is a Deer Farm and the herd are a lot more tame than their wild cousins. Children fed them by hand. (Well, the brave ones did..)
April/May 2017 - Pierrepont Farm & SDA AGM
Surrey DA’s 95th AGM was held at Peirrepont Farm, Tilford. The site is close to many places of interest and bordered by a Forestry Commission woodland. The Farm is a working dairy farm with the milking sheds open to view by visitors - as the Frensham Brewery!
May 2018 - Pierrepont Farm Bank Holiday
Another year on and the hottest May Bank Holiday since records began - Lots of alfresco dining and sometimes a struggle to find shade… Almost unknown in the UK!!
Maplehurst May 2018 - Strawberry Teas
This year’s Strawberry Teas at Maplehurst Farm, near Horsham, was blessed with the hottest summer since 1976… Lots of visitor’s and new faces joined us for the weekend and an impromptu chorus of young campers provided a musical interlude, while we tucked into the Strawberry teas.
